Michael Mormile is the Chief Investment Officer at FortWood Capital, overseeing the firm’s research and investment process. Michael brings over 15 years of industry experience as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst in both developed and emerging markets credit. Most recently, Michael was a Portfolio Manager at Citadel, where he ran a team that invested in emerging markets sovereign and emerging markets corporate credit opportunities. Prior to this, Michael held positions in portfolio management and investment research at PointState Capital, Duquesne Capital and Monarch Alternative Capital. He has investment banking experience from his time with Deutsche Bank.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management degree from Cornell University.
